During the process building up to drawing of plans and diagrams we meet and discuss with clients hopefully get a first design they are 100% happy with. We provide clear and easy to understand plans on A4 sheets, so it’s easy for home printing. We encourage clients to make amendments they would like (the first amendment is free) as we’re aware it’s not always easy to visualise exactly what your proposed build will look like until you see the scaled drawings. Once you have the drawings, moving doors, windows and even walls are possible – until you see the building design you imagined and want.
Once we receive your proposed amendments we will make sure that they meet planning (if required) and Building Control requirements, then send you the final set for your approval.
We provide a simpler pricing structure than many architects who charge an arm and a leg for complicated sets of plans more suited to large-scale commercial construction projects than residential work. We consider the work holistically so ‘hidden extras’ such as Schedules of Work, electrical diagrams, plumbing drawings and all kinds of other pages architects usually create (and charged for), are already included in our price.
Once the necessary approvals are obtained, you will have enough information to obtain quotes from other builders so you can compare our quotation for constructing and project managing your extension or new build property.
